About The Sun Dogs.
The Sun Dogs
The Sun Dogs is the musical duo of Scott Lempka and Paul Beckermann. Scott and Paul met in the fall of 2015, and after a couple years of sharing similar musical interests, teamed up to write, record and perform songs as The Sun Dogs. Scott loves to write, record and play music. Ever since his days playing in a band in college, he's itched to get back to music. These past few years, he has done just that as a member of the Sun Dogs! He's excited about this new musical journey and for the chance to share his songs with others. Paul loves all kinds of music and has performed in a number of bands over the years, including Toxic Waste, Blackboard Jungle, The Square One Band and now, The Sun Dogs. Paul has also written and recorded eight solo albums of original music in his basement studio. Music makes his world brighter, and he is enjoying this musical collaboration with Scott! Performances

This is our new album of 15 original tunes released in the summer of 2020. We hope you check it out on iTunes, Google Play, Spotify and more. "In Search of Longer Days"
This is our first album of original music, and it was created through a unique collaborative process between two friends, educators, musicians, performers, and songwriters. During the writing and recording process, we seldom met in person. Rather, we wrote and recorded portions of songs in our basement studios and then emailed tracks back and forth to each other. Individual parts and tracks were pieced together and built upon until they became the songs on this CD. |
